Registration Criteria for the Child Care Rebate Most families will be able to claim some money back through the "Claim for Child Care Benefit for Registered Care" through the Family Assistance Office. There are some requirements for families to be able to register for this rebate. Some of the criteria are as follows:

The parents/guardians need to have passed the "About the work test"s. By filling out this form it acknowledges your eligibility requirements. You must meet the standard of hours worked, studied, looking for work etc to pass.
All children in care must meet the immunisation requirements.
You or your partner needs to meet the residency requirements.
Your children need to be in approved or registered care.
Obtained receipts throughout the year, from your registered carer, so as they can be passed on with you form to collect the rebate.

Nannies are classified as a registered carer. A Nanny is only regarded as a registered carer once they have registered with the Family Assist Office. Once they have done this and the family has met all the criteria, the family should then be able to claim the rebate. Please note that the rebate amount is dependant on how much the family income is per year. There are tables indicating how much families will be able receive on the family assist website.

Upon filling out and signing a registration form with Centenary Nannies we will require a $75 non –refundable administration fee. Once a nanny is placed with your family this cost will be dedicated from the remaining balance owing to Centenary Nannies
Babysitting services
Casual Booking Fee $22 otherwise you can purchase books of 5, 10 and 20.
Book of 5: $95 save $15
Book of 10: $190 save $30
Book of 20: $390 save $50
Or you can pay a babysitting placement fee to utilize the service for 12 months for $330.
All fees are GST inclusive.
Our Babysitting Agency fee is $22. This is to be paid to the Nanny at the
end of the shift. You will also have to pay the Nanny their money for the
night. The rate of pay is $17 per hour until midnight, anytime after
midnight is $20 per hour. A minimum of 3 hours is to be paid, including the
Agency fee. This equates to $73 in total. |

To help families afford a Nanny the government is now offering a rebate. Most families can obtain this, although there is some form of assessment to be made about the parents/guardians to be able to claim this.
The family can claim from the "Claim for Child Care Benefit for Registered Care", a minimum of 0.49 cents per hour the Nanny is working. The maximum rebate is $2.96 per hour.
